Laura started her career in Fashion Industry by giving a helping hand to her mother in the business of dressmaking. Her start in the fashion career was in 1962. She worked under countless fashion designers like Cappucci, Barocco and Licitro etc. However Laura soon got agitated, and came up with the idea of starting her own fashion brand. The big break was given to her by Angelo Tarlazzi in 1965. Shortly she claimed over MacPherson, a Cashmere company. She started making outfits using yarn which gave her the name “Queen of Cashmere” in the world of fashion.

Laura has had a very significant and flourishing career in the fashion industry. Her dresses are very unique and based on Cashmere style. In China 1988, she was the first Italian fashion designer who introduced her collection. She held a fashion show in Kremlin in 1995, February. This show was a phenomenal success and led to Laura’s boutique opening in Moscow. The adulation of her collection has bloomed profusely since then.

- Her parents were in the dressmaking trade.
- When her father died, her mother started designing staff uniform for Aitalia.
